Well, we all knew this day would come. When Eric moved in during the Spring of 2001, we thought it would only be for six months, or so. Almost two years later to the day, he has gathered his belongings to begin this next phase of his life. You see, Eric recognizes that to be successful, he has to be self-reliant. So, he is making preparations to do just that -- get a place of his own, pursue his current career, and complete his education.
During the last 24 months, he has become much more than one of our son's friends. We've had his help when we asked , his fellowship when we wanted, his respect when we deserved it, and his compassion when we needed it. Eric became family. We will not forget.
